Senator GRIMES (Minister for Social Security)(8.08) —I do not have the exact figure here. All I can say is that we are all better off for having a universal health insurance scheme. For instance, if even Senator Walters or I were to suffer a catastrophic accident or illness which could only be treated in a public hospital we would be better off. I assume she means financially better off. I will ask the Minister for Health (Dr Blewett) to make an attempt to get those figures.
