Senator GRIMES (Minister for Social Security)(12.45) —Senator Walters's question referred generally to market surveys and projects which had been done in the financial year. I am sorry, I thought Senator Walters was referring to a specific series of surveys. I think the honourable senator got the answer that a survey was done on the health problems of unemployed youth undertaken for the Health Promotion Unit. There was a survey on health problems and the public attitude to aged Australians and a survey on community reaction to the dispute between the Government and some doctors' organisations, which was an investigation program for the purpose of assisting and clarifying the approach by the Government to the advertising of Medicare. My information is that this information has not been made public but I do not have here any reason why it has not been made public. I think the best I can do is to talk to the Minister for Health (Dr Blewett) and see why that information has not been made public or whether it is intended to make that information public.

Progress reported.
