Senator WALTERS(11.47) —I apologise to the Minister. The information was possibly included in answer to Senator Bjelke-Petersen's question, but she did not ask a question relating to costs. She asked for details of the proposed contracts. I asked for the costs. I was looking for the answers to the questions I asked.

Senator Grimes —The costs are in that.

Senator WALTERS —I thank the Minister. The information was provided in answer to Senator Bjelke-Petersen's questions. At page 14 of Hansard, I asked Mr Mahoney for a guesstimate of the total cost of first class travel. Mr Mahoney said:

We might be able to make very much of an estimate on first class travel.

We have just on 17 000 staff in the Department and only a handful of those are second division officers, so we might be able to make some guesstimate of the total cost.

Senator Gietzelt then asked whether that would satisfy me and I said yes. We have not received that guesstimate which Mr Mahoney offered to get.
