Dr Southcott asked the Minister for Employment Participation, in writing, on 27 November 2008:

In respect of the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator program: how many job seekers have been placed with each company that has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Disability Works Australia.


Mr Brendan O’Connor (Minister for Employment Participation) —The answer to the honourable member’s question is as follows:

From 1 July 2007 to 30 September 2008, 747 job seekers achieved an eligible employment placement as a result of being placed into a job with assistance from Disability Works Australia.  These job seekers were employed by the following employers who have signed a Memorandum of Understanding or a Letter of Intent to enter a Memorandum of Understanding.
