Mr PRICE (3:43 PM) —Of the many hundreds of parliamentary papers tabled in the House in this parliament, in 2004 seven were asked to be taken note of and so far in 2005 there have been 65. As best as I can determine, not one of them has been listed for debate. Mr Speaker, I was wondering whether you might investigate this matter and afford honourable members the opportunity to actually debate the reports that are listed as a motion to take note.

The SPEAKER —I thank the Chief Opposition Whip. I will look at that matter further; but, as he would be aware, it is the responsibility of the government as to what is on the blue and what is to be called on for debate. I will look at the matter further.
