Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister) (2:01 PM) —I wish to inform the House of a change in relation to ministerial representation in the Senate which took effect on 3 November. The Minister for Fisheries, Forestry and Conservation, Senator the Hon. Ian Macdonald, has assumed responsibility for the Environment and Heritage portfolio. The Minister for Revenue and Assistant Treasurer, Senator the Hon. Helen Coonan, will represent the Minister for Veterans' Affairs. The Special Minister of State, Senator the Hon. Eric Abetz, will represent the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, and the Minister for Employment Services. The changes will distribute representational duties more evenly amongst Senate ministers. For the information of honourable members, I present a list of the full ministry indicating the new representational arrangements. In all other respects the list is the same as that presented to the parliament on 7 October 2003.
