Mr ORGAN (3:05 PM) —My question is to you, Mr Speaker: arising out of your letter to all senators and members today wherein you state that Presidents Bush and Hu, following their addresses to the parliament, will soon afterwards depart Parliament House, will members be given the opportunity to meet with both gentlemen following their addresses or at any other time next week?

The SPEAKER —I cannot respond to the member for Cunningham's question, simply because the program of both presidents is in the hands of the Ceremonial and Hospitality Branch of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. It is not something over which the Speaker has any control.
