Mr RUDD (3:24 PM) —My question is addressed to the Minister for Foreign Affairs. I refer to the leaked top-secret national security report on Iraq prepared by the Office of National Assessments. Can the minister inform the House who in his office had access to this report? Did the minister or any member of his office who had access to this report fail to return it before 23 June 2003 or did any member of his staff request a copy of this report in the weeks prior to the partial publication of its contents in the Herald Sun newspaper on that date? Will the minister ensure that this information is also made available to the Australian Federal Police?

Mr DOWNER (Minister for Foreign Affairs) —As the Prime Minister said in relation to the investigation by the Federal Police, they are welcome to any information they seek. If they seek that information, they will—

Mr Rudd —No. Will you give it to them?

Mr DOWNER —I am very happy for them to have access to that information.
