Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER (Mr Leo McLeay) -Madam Speaker has received a letter from the honourable member for Fadden (Mr Jull) proposing that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the House for discussion, namely:

The failure of the Hawke Government to address the real concerns of families in Australia.

I call upon those members who approve of the proposed discussion to rise in their places.
