Mr CADMAN —Yes, Madam Speaker. I seek leave to make a personal explanation.


Madam SPEAKER —Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?


Mr CADMAN —Yes, Madam Speaker.


Madam SPEAKER —Please proceed.


Mr CADMAN —The House will be aware of the compassion and understanding that the Opposition has for the well-being of the Australian people and particularly for migrant community groups. In today's debate, the honourable member for Calwell (Dr Theophanous) said that I was not a supporter of migrant community groups. That is not true, Madam Speaker. We well know that the honourable member for Calwell--


Madam SPEAKER —Order! The honourable member will just concentrate on himself.


Mr CADMAN —He has been unsuccessful in persuading his Government to adopt any policies which support migrant community groups.
