Third Reading

Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER —The question before the House now is:

That the Bill be now read a third time.

Mr Hodgman —Mr Deputy Speaker--

Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER —It being past 5 p.m., the time for the debate has expired. Is the honourable member raising a point of order?

Mr Hodgman —Yes. Mr Deputy Speaker, I refer to standing order 226. I respectfully submit that, notwithstanding the remaining stages provision, the question of the title of the Bill must nevertheless still be put and must be put as a separate question. The Deputy Chairman, Mr Blanchard, overruled me.

Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER —Order! There is no point of order.

Question put:

That the Bill be now read a third time.
