To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled. The humble petition of the undersigned citizens of the Federal Division of Fisher respectfully showeth:

1. That we, the undersigned, are totally opposed to substantial Federal Government funding presently being wasted on undesirable, inefficient and incompetently run Government projects that are unacceptable to the vast majority of decent Australians.

2. That Government grants should not be directed towards projects that are of no, or dubious, worth to the improvement of Australia.

3. That public funding should not be used in encouraging lifestyles contrary to the Australian family way of life.

4. That public moneys should not be given to minority groups to support projects that are of a direct political nature.

Your petitioners humbly pray that the House of Representatives, in Parliament assembled, urge the Government to:

Halt forthwith the public funding for the abovementioned purposes.

And your petitioners, as in duty bound will ever pray.
