To the Honourable the Speaker and members of the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled. The humble petition of the undersigned citizens of the Federal Division of Fisher respectfully showeth that:

The Government's actions in changing levels of pharmaceutical benefits will adversely affect the infirm and elderly and that it will cause further unnecessary economic hardship and suffering among all people who are currently dependent on existing benefits.

The Government's actions are little more than yet another burden placed upon our Australian citizens.

Your petitioners humbly pray that the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled, urge the Government to:

Restore pharmaceutical benefits to their former level, therefore lifting this inequitable burden now being placed squarely on the infirm throughout Australia.

Give a firm undertaking not to further desert those citizens in need of medical support.

And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray.
