To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled.

The humble petition of the undersigned citizens of Australia respectfully showeth: Objection to the display of advertisements, and promotion of Alcoholic beverages and Tobacco products via Television, Cinema, Magazine, Newsprint, Posters, Billboard and at sporting venues. Your petitioners therefore humbly pray that the House will request the Government to introduce such legislation and take whatever action is necessary to prohibit all such advertising and promotions, in order to protect the youth, families and people of Australia, and your Petitioners as in duty bound, will ever pray.
