Mr BARRY JONES (Minister for Science) —Madam Speaker, may I just intervene for a moment to say that I regret that I was not aware of this. I was not in the House for the adjournment debate last night, and I have not read the speeches in Hansard. I just feel stunned at the news and I would like to express also my high regard for Mr Marty, for his very high professional standards, my deep expression of grief at his death and my support for his wife, Judy. They were indeed a remarkable couple and I am simply aghast at the news.

Madam SPEAKER —The Minister was out of order but, considering the topic, I let it go. I now give the call to the other side.
