Mr Maher asked the Minister representing the Minister for Community Services, upon notice, on 26 November 1986:

(1) What before and after school care services were funded within the Electoral Division of Lowe in 1985-86.

(2) How many children were in care for each school day in each service.


Mr Howe —The Minister for Community Services has provided the following answer to the honourable member's question:

(1) The following outside school hours care services located in the Federal Electorate of Lowe received funding from the Department of Community Services in 1985-86:

Croydon Before and After School Care, Abbotsford Before and After School Care, Concord Before and After School Care, Drummoyne After School Activities, Ashfield Infants Home After School Care

(2) Daily records of attendances are not provided as a matter of course. A census of outside school hours services conducted in April 1986 provides the following information:
