Mr CADMAN —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That this House-

(1) calls on the Prime Minister to hold immediate discussions with the Premier of New South Wales so that the assets test can be changed immediately;

(2) calls on the Premier of New South Wales to lead the campaign against an assets test as he has promised; and

(3) castigates the Government for creating many inequalities where-

(a) pensioners live in nursing homes;

(b) pensioners live on more than the normal housing block; and

(c) pensioners with savings have had the initiative to supplement their income by part-time work or superannuation.

Mr Speaker, I believe this matter ought to be debated immediately. We will go on debating this matter to prove how badly the Australian Labor Party has treated the pensioners of Australia.
