Mr BEAZLEY (Special Minister of State)(4.11) —As the honourable member for Boothby (Mr Steele Hall) has pointed out, effectively our amendments (4) to (6) and (7) to (10) achieve the objectives of the honourable member for Boothby, with the exception of the word 'may'. Our amendment has 'may' instead of 'shall' . We have in fact accepted in total or in part a number of amendments put to us last night by the Opposition, and this is one of them, in the spirit of trying to keep this legislation as bipartisan as we possibly can. We will move accordingly.
