Mr SPEAKER —Is it the wish of the House to proceed to the third reading forthwith?


Mr Tuckey —Mr Speaker, I wish to address the House on the third reading.


Mr Holding —I move:

That the question be now put.


Mr Tuckey —This is disgraceful. I have matters of great importance.


Mr SPEAKER —Order! The honourable member for O'Connor will resume his seat. The question I put to the House was whether it was the wish of the House to proceed to the third reading forthwith. I did not get a reply before the honourable member for O'Connor, who did not have the call, rose.


Mr Hodgman —A committee is required.
