Mr ALDRED —Mr Deputy Speaker, I claim to have been misrepresented.

Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER (Hon. Les Johnson) —Does the honourable member wish to make a personal explanation?

Mr ALDRED —I do.

Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER —He may proceed.

Mr ALDRED —In relation to the Age article concerning my comments in the adjournment debate last night it is stated that Mr Aldred tabled the minutes relating to the comments by the honourable member for La Trobe (Mr Milton) at the Camberwell Australian Labor Party meeting. I was not given leave to table those minutes. I will now seek leave to table the minutes so that the honourable member can be absolutely sure of what he said. I seek leave to table the minutes .

Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER —Order! Is leave granted?

Mr Dawkins —The normal courtesy is to allow us to have a look at them before leave is sought.

Mr Peacock —There are the branch minutes of the Camberwell ALP meeting.

Mr Dawkins —Yes, leave is granted.
