Mr HODGMAN —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That this House expresses its grave concern at persistent reports that the Government intends to effectively destroy the Oath of Allegiance by striking out any reference whatsoever to Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God Queen of Australia and her other realms and territories, Head of the Commonwealth, as provided in the Royal Style and Titles Act 1973 introduced into this Parliament by the Whitlam Government.
