To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled.

We the undersigned citizens of Australia, believing that men and women are equal but different,

That Australia can provide equal opportunity for all citizens without foreign treaties,

That the UN Discrimination Convention would give a communist-dominated international committee the power to judge Australia's laws,

Humbly petition that your Honourable House will not support the Sex Discrimination Bill 1983 or the Commonwealth laws to achieve its aims.

And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
