Dr EVERINGHAM —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That this House deplores the daily allegations by the honourable member for Denison that the Government is tardy in providing funds and jobs for Tasmania, while the Tasmanian Government at the beginning of this month had spent only 53. 6 per cent--

Mr SPEAKER —Order! The House will come to order. I ask the honourable member for Denison and the Leader of the House to allow the honourable member for Capricornia the courtesy that they have been allowed.

Mr McVeigh-I take a point of order, Mr Speaker. During your term you have endeavoured to bring decorum to this chamber and I congratulate you on that. I thought it was bad for the Leader of the House to come around and threaten my colleague--

Mr SPEAKER —Order! I might say that that sort of comment does not assist my efforts to maintain decorum and dignity. I call the honourable member for Capricornia.
