Mr CARLTON(2.25 a.m.) —I draw the attention of the Committee to clause 85 which is concerned with the protection of the Medicare name and symbol and that it provides for the prohibition of the use of the name Medicare and its prescribed symbol by persons other than the Health Insurance Commission and possibly by certain other people already using the name. I am not sure that that is a proper provision to be in the Bill. I hope that if anybody else is currently using the name, quite legitimately, that adequate compensation will be available for such persons.

Clause agreed to.

Clauses 86 and 87-by leave-taken together, and agreed to.

Clauses 88 to 131-by leave-taken together.
