Mr LINDSAY —I seek leave to make a personal explanation.

Mr SPEAKER —Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?

Mr LINDSAY —I do, Mr Speaker.

Mr SPEAKER —The honourable member may proceed.

Mr LINDSAY —Thank you, Mr Speaker. A misrepresentation occurred in the daily Hansard report of my speech during the adjournment debate last night. I referred to the Cardwell-by-the-Sea sub-branch of the Returned Services League. The daily Hansard shows me as having said: 'It does not have a great sense of service to Australia'. What I said was: 'It does have a great sense of service to Australia '. My statement was correctly reported by Hansard. A correct copy of the Hansard report was forwarded to the Government Printing Office where the error in typesetting took place. I find the misrepresentation by the Printing Office to be highly regrettable.
