Mr COLEMAN —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That this House-

(1) notes with concern-

(a) The report published in the winter 1983 issue of the Institute of Public Affairs Review, monitoring 3 Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio public affairs programs over some months, and

(b) The report's conclusion that the undue attention given in programs to the radical left leaves the ABC open to the charge that it is promoting a particular political line, and

(2) calls on the Minister for Communications to discuss the report with the ABC Board with a view to restoring balance to the programs in question.
