Mr CADMAN —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That this House-

(1) condemns the Government for its incomprehensible attitude to the means testing of aged pensioners;

(2) calls on the Minister for Social Security to make clear statements of Government intentions and end the uncertainty facing all retirees and pensioners ;

(3) recommends that the Minister for Social Security and the Government either scrap the proposal or go back to the drawing board and start over again, but make no announcements until the matter has been thought through; and

(4) suggests that the Government seeks a transfusion of intellectual competence by consulting the Australian electorate.
