The following notices were given:

Mr Lionel Bowen to move-

That, unless otherwise ordered, Government Business take precedence of General Business on each day of sitting until the Appropriation Bill (No. 1) 1983-84, the Appropriation Bill (No. 2) 1983-84 and the Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Bill 1983-84 have passed all stages in the House.

Mr Hayden to present a Bill for an Act relating to the making by Australia of a special contribution to the International Development Association.

Mr Hurford to present a Bill for an Act relating to the increase in Australia's quota in the International Monetary Fund.

Mr Hurford to present a Bill for an Act relating to the subscription by Australia for additional shares in the capital stock of the Asian Development Bank.

Mr Hurford to present a Bill for an Act to encourage and assist persons to purchase or build their own homes.

Mr Hurford to present a Bill for an Act to amend the Home Deposit Assistance Act 1982.

Mr Hurford to present a Bill for an Act to amend the Housing Loans Insurance Act 1965 and the Commonwealth Functions (Statutes Review) Act 1981.

Mr Lionel Bowen to move-

(1) That the resolution of appointment of the Joint Select Committee on Electoral Reform be amended:

(a) by inserting after paragraph (3) the following new paragraph:

'(3A) That the members of the committee hold office as a joint committee until the House of Representatives expires by dissolution or effluxion of time.'', and

(b) by omitting paragraph (14), as amended, and substituting the following pargraphs:

'(14) That the committee have leave to report from time to time.

(14A) That the committee report as soon as possible.''.

(2) That a message be sent to the Senate acquainting it of this resolution and requesting its concurrence.
