Question No. 30


Mr Rocher asked the Minister representing the Minister for Education and Youth Affairs, upon notice, on 3 May 1983:

(1) How many teachers and teaching staff were employed in each State and Territory for each of the years 1980 to 1982 inclusive;

(2) How many students were enrolled in each State and Territory for the same years.


Mr Dawkins —The Minister for Education and Youth Affairs has provided the following answer to the honourable member's question:

(1) No distinction is made in collected statistics between teachers and teaching staff.
