(Question No. 1769)

Mr Bungey asked the Minister for the Capital Territory, upon notice, on 9 April 1981:

Does the National Capital Development Commission charge a supervision or over-riding fee for projects being constructed by the Department of Housing and Construction; if so, what proportion of project costs.

Mr Hodgman —The answer to the honourable member's question is as follows:

I am informed by the National Capital Development Commission that in accordance with the government policy on inter-departmental payments, no supervision or other fees are charged by the Department of Housing and Construction where the Department is engaged by the Commission for design, and/or supervision of construction, of capital works.
