Summary

Amends the Indigenous Education (Targeted Assistance) Act 2000 to: appropriate additional funding to provide tutorial assistance to Indigenous students who move away from their remote communities to attend school; and transfer transitional assistance funding for independent Indigenous vocational education and training providers to appropriations under the proposed Skilling Australia’s Workforce Act 2005.
