Schedule 1 — Amendment of the Migration Act 1958

   

1  After subsection 198A(4)

Insert:

          (4A)  A declaration made under subsection (3) is a legislative instrument for the purposes of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003 .

          (4B)  A declaration made under subsection (3) cannot come into effect until it is laid before each House of the Parliament.
