Senator KEEFFE (QUEENSLAND) - My question is directed to the Leader of the Government in the Senate. Can he inform the Parliament how many Bills have been frustrated by the Opposition in the Senate during the 2 sessional periods of 1973? In particular, can he provide the following details: Firstly, how many Bills have been rejected; secondly, how many Bills have been deferred and for how long in each case; thirdly, how many Bills have been amended to the degree that they are unacceptable to the Government; and, fourthly, how many Bills have been amended where the amendments have been accepted by the Government?

Senator MURPHY - 1 could provide those details later, but I am unable to do so now. I will do so later. I think it is sufficient to say that the answer to the question as to how many Bills have been rejected or delayed unacceptably is, too many.
