Senator COHEN (VICTORIA) - I direct a question to the Minister representing the PostmasterGeneral. Is he aware that in Sydney last weekend a very large and widely representative gathering of citizens urged the Government to implement the recommendations of the Senate Select Committee on the Encouragement of Australian Productions for Television? When does the Government intend to consider the Committee's recommendations? Will the Minister give an assurance that the debate on the Committee's report will be resumed in this Senate - it has been adjourned since 14th April last - and that a responsible Minister will announce the Government's attitude, whether of support for or opposition to, the recommendations contained in the report?
