Senator ANDERSON - I shall refer the honorable senator's question to the PostmasterGeneral. However, I would like to repudiate without delay any suggestion of political interference with the Australian Broadcasting Commission. The position is that the Commission, by Act of Parliament, has complete autonomy. The honorable senator's suggestion to the contrary reveals that he is not aware of the law. However, I shall refer the honorable senator's question to the Postmaster-General and obtain an answer for him as soon as I can.
