Senator PEARCE (Western Australia) (Minister for Defence) (2:44 AM) . - I welcome the remarks and suggestions' of the honorable senator, containing, as they do, the specific assurance of activeflying men that they would be willing to cast their lot with the Citizen Air Force. This clause has been carefully drafted to enable such men to become associated with that branch. They will be looked to to constitute the officers who will, actively assist in training.


Senator Foster - Two young men managing companies made thesesuggestions.


Senator PEARCE - I am glad to say that the door' is left open, and such men as the honorable senator mentions have ahearty invitation to come along.
