Mr NIXON (GIPPSLAND, VICTORIA) - I ask a question of the Minister for Defence, Minister for the Navy, Mini.ter for the Army, Minister for Air and Minister for Supply. Did he hold discussions with his former Press secretary, Mr Lloyd, about the possibility of Mr Lloyd's taking part in a briefing with Lord Carrington?

Mr BARNARD - Again, I should point out to the House that this matter has been fully dealt with but, as I understand it, the question that the honourable member asked was: Had I had discussions with Mr Lloyd.

Mr Nixon - About the briefing.

Mr BARNARD - About the briefing. Quite frankly, the answer is no.
