Dr Donald Cameron (OXLEY, QUEENSLAND) - I shall ask the Department of Health to examine the quarantine regulations, but the honorable gentleman must realize that the very purpose of such regulations is to ensure that plants grown in this country are free from disease. It would be of very little use relaxing the regulations to such a degree as to put those plants in jeopardy merely to protect local growers against the introduction of canned fruit from abroad.
