Mr ADERMANN (FISHER, QUEENSLAND) (Minister for Primary Industry) - We have received local reports of some damage. If these reports are an indication of a general condition throughout the area, the damage sustained could prove to have been considerable, but the extent will not be known for a few days yet. The extent of the overall damage depends, in the main, on whether there is an improvement in the weather in the future. 1 think the vital point is whether we have good weather for harvesting.
