Mr ANTHONY - Has the Prime Minister seen a. statement released by the New South Wales Government Statistician that reserve stocks of coal on the 1st July, 1942, amounted to 1,062,000 tons? Is.it a fact that to-day those reserves Iia ve disappeared, and that, numerous industries in .New South Wales are threatened with closure as a result, and tens of thousands of people are liable to be thrown out. of work? Has the Government clone anything to avert this impending catastrophe, and to build up coal stocks once more to the condition iii which they were when the Curtin Government took office?
