Mr DEDMAN - I have heard it alleged that potatoes we're rotting in Tasmania on account of the lack of shipping. I believe that the loss has been very much exaggerated. The honorable member knows that there is a considerable shortage ofshipping, not only in Australian waters but also throughoutthe world. I am certain that the Minister forSupply and Shipping does his utmost to ensure that a certain priority shall be granted to Tasmania for the shipment of its produce, including potatoes.I shall again draw his attention to the matter. I am confident that, if more can be done to improve the transport of produce from Tasmania it will be done.
