Mr ABBOTT (NEW ENGLAND, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Has the Acting Attorney-General seen press reports of the proceedings in the Central Police Court, Sydney, on Saturday last, when fourteen wharf labourers were fined for having had stolen goods in their possession? In view of the comment"! of the presiding magistrate and the police concerning the seriousness of cargo pillaging at Australian ports, will the Acting Attorney-General call for a report concerning the men who were fined with a view to determining whether their licences to engage in waterside work should be cancelled?
