Mr CURTIN - I have read the article which appeared in the Sydney Morning Herald on Monday last, and it is a correct statement of the facts. The forces which have been placed at the disposal of General MacArthur in this country are of the kind which have been specified in the assignment. I shall not disclose the particulars of the assignment, but some of the colleagues of the honorable member for Adelaide (Mr. Stacey) know what those forces consist of, and I shall only add that General MacArthur's command is of such a nature that he is having no difficulties whatever with this Government.
