Mr MORGAN (REID, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Is the Minister for the Army aware that about 200 members of the Australian Imperial Force at the Walgrove military camp, who had enlisted for overseas service, have been fined by the army authorities amounts totalling approximately £150 for entering a protest against the order to remove their colour patches? Will he have an inquiry made into the matter with a view to having the. penalty remitted on the principle that it is better to extend clemency in such cases than to add fuel to the fire of the men's indignation ? Will he consider recognizing in some way the fact that these men have enlisted for active service overseas?
