Mr JAMES - Is it not also a fact that the Minister instructed me to call a conference of the local Reference Board; of which Mr. Connell is chairman, on the dismissal of the man Mitchell, and that the Reference Board decided that he should be re-engaged at the mine ? Is the Minister aware that J. and A. Brown and Abermain Seaham Collieries Limited has refused to reinstate Mitchell in spite of the direction to do so from Mr. Connell? If these are facts, will the Minister and the Government display the same taste for the owners' blood as they have shown for the miners' blood?
