Mr McEWEN (INDI, VICTORIA) -Will the Minister for Commerce endeavour to arrange for the rationing of superphosphate on the basis of the calendar rather than' the financial year? Seasonal circumstances frequently result in a farmer sowing one year's cereal crop in July and the succeeding year's cereal crop in the following June. Under the present intention in regard to the rationing of superphosphate, sucha farmer would have to sow two years' crops with one year's ration, whereas if the calendar year were adopted as a basis the end of the rationing year would coincide with a seasonal period when there were no crop operations in Australia, and it would be much more convenient for the farmers.
