Mr WILSON - I wish to make a personal explanation. The Prime Ministers answer to my question seemed to imply that I desired priority to be given to certain steps for the protection of the interests of primary producers, over the urgent needs of the war effort. That was far from my mind.


Mr Curtin - I did not think that.


Mr WILSON - I hope that neither the honorable gentleman nor the House gained that impression from my question. I merely asked that the matter be considered in conjunction with the general arrangement ofour war effort.
