Sir FREDERICK STEWART (PARRAMATTA, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for Health) - The Commonwealth Government has evinced a keen interest in movements for raising the standard of national fitness, and to that end has already made offers to each of the States to endow lectureships on the subject in the various universities. A further conference of the National Coordinating Council for Physical Fitness was held in Canberra this week, and from that conference certain representations have been presented to me, which will be placed before the Government in due course.
