Mr FORDE - In view of the fact that a number of members of State Parliaments desire to nominate as candidates for the Federal Parliament at the forthcoming general elections, and to do so will have to resign their seats fourteen clear days before the date of nominations, will the Prime Minister make to the House to-day a definite pronouncement as to when the elections are to be held, and also indicate the probable date of nominations?
