Mr MAKIN (Hindmarsh) .- Members of the Opposition have been very considerate to the PostmasterGeneral during the passage of this bill through committee, and are at least en titled to the courtesy of an explanation of the proposed new clause. Ministerial supporters may have prior knowledge of the clause and understand its import, but members of the Opposition are not so happily situated. I ask the Postmaster-General to allay our fears that behind this amendment is something that may be inimical to the best interests of the people.
